Welcome to Muddy Paws.
I set up Muddy Paws to provide reliable, practical pet care across the South Lakes. You deal directly with me, so your dog sees the same familiar person and can settle into a consistent routine.
I choose each walk according to your dog’s age, confidence and energy, whether that means a woodland group walk or a quieter one-to-one stroll. After wet walks, I make sure muddy paws are towelled down and the water bowl is topped up.
Local pet care

Structured 45–60 minute walks in local parkland and woodland. I keep groups small and match dogs by size, age and play style, while solo walks provide gentle, individual care for senior or nervous dogs.
In-home pet & house sitting
Overnight stays and house sitting in your dog’s own home, keeping their usual daily routine and feeding schedule in place while you are away.
Puppy visits & drop-in care
Short visits for young puppies, senior dogs or cats needing feeding, garden breaks and company during the day.
Pet taxi & local transport
Crate-fitted vehicle transport for vet visits, grooming appointments or local transfers across the South Lakes.

Practical daily care
I keep groups small and match dogs by size, age and play style.
I send a quick photo or video after the walk so you can see where we went and how your dog got on.
I vary my woodland and park routes and include scent games, recall practice and familiar cues where appropriate.
